My Izzonet Review

As an online marketing guru/junkie, I was skeptical when I heard that yet another eCommerce technology site has surfaced. Because this is considered my arena, I was of course still compelled to check it out and give IzzoNET the benefit of the doubt and use the free 15-day trial period. Maybe it was because my expectations were so low, but I was definitely impressed with the capabilities of IzzoNET and all of their offerings they provide their users.

What

What is IzzoNET exactly? Similar to it’s competitors, IzzoNET is an eCommerce platform that provides interfacing and online marketing resources for those that are keen to open up their very own online stores. While eBay stores exist and one can open up their own page using Amazon, IzzoNET allows you to take control of your own merchandise and set up your own rules with regards to shipping and customer service. Additionally, to promote sales, IzzoNET enables their users to integrate their store with eBay and Amazon as well.

Who

Who is using IzzoNET? Users range from small-time merchants with a very specific market to those who have been in the online storefront game for years. With my due diligence, I have research and studied those who are using the platform and I have found that many users are former customers of IzzoNET’s competitors (Volusion and BigCommerce).

Why

Like I previously wrote, people are leaving the big competition for the small fledgling that is IzzoNET for mainly 2 big reasons. IzzoNET possesses two big components that most are finding too helpful and invaluable to work without. They are:

1. an anti-fraud safety net. IzzoNET enables you to customize your order limitations by customer, total, number of items, country, and more. Additionally you are able to determine the time between purchases and also to block blacklisted customers from ordering. A successful store is a safe one, and IzzoNET ensures the best security possible.

2. the CSRM feature. This feature is perhaps the most outstanding and unique of the two as IzzoNET is the first of its kind to offer anything close to this feature. This CSRM capability allows users to integrate with their customers and suppliers all from one easy-to-use platform. With this dropshipping option, users are now able to either ship with their own inventory or utilize a supplier instead.

Downfalls

While I was mostly impressed with the array of features and the ease of navigation, there was still something left to be desired with the instructional videos. As I wrote earlier, I am an online marketing guru, not an html coder. This is where I would need the most help with getting started and I felt like the videos would be more effective if there were written and with links to customer support. Other than that, I was still able to take my store to the next level will all of their tools at hand.

When

As IzzoNET went live on April 1, 2011, they are up and ready for business. I have seen many bloggers and writers muse about how so many users are making the switch from BigCommerce to IzzoNET so the future is still bright and promising for this team. Feel free to check out their videos and be sure to try out their free 15-day trial to see for yourself.
